Dip

Cowboy John’s sauce can be used as a dip as is; or:

  • For a milder dip - mix equal parts of Cowboy John’s Grillin’ and Dippn’ Sauce, Mayonnaise & Sour Cream.  Mix well and serve with chips, crackers, or as a dip on your favorite vegetable platters.

  • Place a 3oz package of cream cheese on a platter at room temperature, pour Cowboy John’s Grilln’ and Dippn’ sauce over the top of the cream cheese.  Arrange your favorite chip or cracker on the sides of the platter for your guest to dip into the mixture.  Can also be used as a spread with celery.

  • My niece mixes the sauce with cream cheese and spreads it on her favorite snack cracker.

Fried Pork Ribs
Pork ribs
Flour
Chili Powder (optional)
Cooking oil
Quart Zip lock bag

Cut ribs into individual pieces. Mix flour and chili powder and place in the zip lock bag, place the cut ribs in the bag and shake until the ribs are coated with the flour mixture. Put enough cooking oil in a skillet to fry the ribs (I prefer to use a cast iron skillet). Turning them regularly to make sure they are done to a golden brown. Remove from heat and place on a paper towel to remove the excess oil. Cool slightly, then dip in Cowboy John’s Grilln’ & Dippn’ Sauce. NOTE: Warming the sauce in the microwave prior to dipping adds more great flavor.

Assemble kabobs to your liking. Place on the grill and turn periodically, cook

Meatloaf

Prepare your meatloaf as usual, but use some Grilln’ & Dippn’ Sauce for part of your liquid, instead of all tomato juice or ketchup. I place one half of the meatloaf mixture in the pan, layer it with slices of hot pepper cheese, then place the remainder of the meatloaf mixture on top. Make sure to seal the sides together. Pour more sauce on the top and bake as usual for about 45 minutes. Then, remove from the oven and place another layer of sliced hot pepper cheese on top and return to the oven for another 15 minutes. Serve with a baked potato and salad and you are ready for another tasty treat.

Omelets/Eggs

People have told me they use the sauce on their scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, goulash and omelets. I even use it on hotdogs instead of ketchup.

Pizza

I like my pizza spicy and zesty. I buy the prepared pizza crust, use Grilln’ & Dippn’ Sauce instead of pizza sauce. Then, I cook up some Jimmy Dean’s Hot Pork Sausage along with some diced onion and green bell peppers. Place this mixture on the sauce and top with grated jalapeno pepper cheese. Bake the same as you would a regular pizza. This pizza is also great with chicken instead of the sausage. Then if you really want a treat, shake some more sauce on the top.

Salad Dressing

Cowboy John’s Grilln’ and Dippn’ Sauce can be used as a salad dressing on your favorite tossed salad.  Use it plain or mix with Ranch dressing.  One customer of mine uses equal amounts of Cowboy John’s and Ranch dressing, add grated Parmesan or Romano cheese to taste, mix well and pour on your salad.

1 can of diced tomatoes (14 oz.) with peppers/onions if desired

1 can of corn (14 oz.)

Diced jalapenos to taste (is good to start with one tablespoon, can add more if desired)

Place stew meat and Cowboy John’s Grilln’ & Dippn’ Sauce in a crock-pot on LOW. Let stand and marinate for one hour. Snacks

You can use the sauce as a plain dip for Nacho’s, Scoops or chips. Place the sauce in a bowl or just have a squeeze bottle handy and squeeze as much as you like.

Steak

Whenever I grill my favorite cut of steak, I put the steak on the grill and immediately pour some of the Grilln’ & Dippn’ Sauce on it. Do the same after you turn if over. While the steak is grilling, pour some of the Grilln’ & Dippn” sauce in a small bowl, place in the microwave and heat for a few seconds. Then when you are ready to eat your steak, dip each bite in the sauce to enhance the full flavor of both the steak and sauce. This process is the same for pork chops, chicken or beef. My personal favorite is to grill a pork loin, cut in 1” thick slices, and use lots of Grilln’ & Dippn’ Sauce.
